Nope, Splurge gun....You come out with some funny sayings.

Boxer! They're great with kids and they respond with friendship if its genuinely offered to them by "new people". At the same time, they are wary of strangers and can be fiercely protective if necessary. They were bred as hearing guard dogs, so they make for great home security systems! They're smart and docile, which makes training more enjoyable than frustrating. They have a fabulous temperment and love to play. I've never met a boxer I didn't like! Beagles are a hunting dog through and through. They're great with their people, but be ready for some opposition and some hectic moments if they ever catch something's scent, because they'll run after it. They need owners who establish the fact that the owner's in charge, not the dog. And while they're so cute, they know how to vocalize and will do so frequently unless well-trained. Goldens are fabulous dogs, but if you're not a person who can handle a messy dog, then I'd avoid getting one. Their hair will end up everywhere, especially if you keep them inside. And their joyful temperament can occasionally morph into hyperactivity. If you want the personality without all that hair, I'd look into a golden or black lab.
