The #7 Subway train goes from Times Square to Shea Stadium. Pretty much door-to-door. About 45 minutes if you hop on the express train (the ones with the diamond-shaped #7 sign.) About an hour if it's the local train (with the round #7 sign).

Just take the 7 train. If it's on a weekday, get an express. A lot easier. Remember, not only is traffic bad, but there's another stadium where parking should be. And you pay a fortune for parking. Compare that to two bucks. With the price of gas, who wants to? Do yourself a favor.

Faster to take the train. By car it would probably take an hour or even a little more
