What is your opinion of the band The Offspring?

I think after Ixnay On The Hombre, they completely lost it. That band had my support and then they just went completely downhill for me. I don't care about them being mainstream, because they always were. My gripe is with the quality of their music. Biggest disappointment....

I only know 2 songs by them (Come Out & Play, Pretty Fly For A White Guy) and didn't consider either song as being great. I was cruising Best Buy the other day and noticed they had a new cd. Which was news to me, not that I planned on buying it. I thought The Offspring fell off the face of the earth years ago. Kind of considered them a 2 hit wonder and thats about it.

Use to love the offspring returned contained in the days, yet on the 2d i merely see them as an uncomplicated sounding decision rock band whom have some respectable songs. Ie i nevertheless have those songs nevertheless on my ipod: the youngsters are not okay and you're Gonna bypass some distance, baby yet i exploit to have like various song with the help of them. (in basic terms deleted the songs as i'm extra into metallic now) final word: The band is particularly alot extra constructive than bands like blink and you me at six

I still like The Offspring, but not as much as I use too, back when I was in high school I use to listen to their albums Smash and Ignition all the time, even though they went more commercial when they signed with Columbia, they still put out some pretty catchy songs.

I used to only listen to oldies until I heard my sister's copy of Americana...I played that to death and picked up every other full-length CD they've made and have listened to all of those to death too...the new album is awesome, I'd put it right behind Ignition and Smash. They're definitely in my top 10 favorite bands of all time. Good to see they're still catchy as all getup after 20+ years of being together.

Ya I am def into The Offspring. I think that they are a pretty sweet mainstream band. There's no point in defending the fact that you like a mainstream band man. We all have those bands lol.

I like em, but they're new album has ripped Green Day off a little. And they're not fake. Green Day isn't either. Someone on here clearly doesn't know a thing about punk rock. ******* idiot.

I like the Offspring but mostly their older work..Smash, Ignition,and Ixnay on the Hombre...APC is right after they signed with Columbia they started to become more commercial but I still like them

I prefer Americana and Smash to some of their newer stuff, but overall they're still a good band.
