I'm assuming you received the card from a bank. First, look at your original agreement for specifics regarding the return of your security deposit. If a reasonable amount of time has passed and you are getting nowhere, you should speak directly to the bank manager and demand your deposit. If that doesn't work, tell them you intend to file a complaint with the FASB, FED, the government bureau in your state that oversees banking, and the local TV chanel that has a "problem solver", ie one that will put thier cameras in the bank employees faces. Big Daddy gave the best answer, read your agreement with the credit card company, hopefully it is a bank, and then call the credit card company manager. You shouldn't get the run around either way, they should let you know when your funds are available.
