It's an autoimmune disorder which I have as well...I can only control it with meds...not something you can grow out of. Find yourself a good rheumatologist and they will help. I know the pain you must be suffering it's hard to describe to others. Best of Luck to you.

Rheumatoid arthritis is in you immune system. Unfortunately,

at the present time, there is no cure only treatment.

It won't go away. My dad has had it since he was seventeen. It will get progressively worse. There are new drugs on the market that will slow it down dramatically. I would suggest you make an appointment with a rheumatologist immediately!!!!

  • I'm no doctor, but arthritis is known to get worse with age, but never give up the hope of it getting better.

If you can keep treatment up you may be able to keep it from spreading to your other joints.

Just remember to do everything you doctor recommends. If something your doctor says doesn't sit right with you. Get a second opinion.!

Sadly, it will never go away. It will only get worse with age.
