I need a heater for a 1.5 plastic tank for my beta.?

Anyone have any ideas? the one I found you cant adjust the temp/heat on it and it says it makes the tank water " a few degrees warmer than it is " and then it also staes that if the water temp gets too high you have to unplug the dang thing or take it out of the water... I wanted something that would turn itself on and off like the larger tank heaters do..... any ideas?

    no you don't

what you need is at least a 2.5 gallon tank with a filter, a 5 gallon would be recommended though

even for a 2.5 gallon tank you would have a 7.5 watt heater, for a 5 gallon you need a 25 watt heater

the smallest heater they make is for a 2.5 gallon tank
