NBA Best Center of 2008. According to all-rankings.com.

    1. Tim Duncan

Even if he is listed as Power Forward, he is a natural center.

    2. Amare Stoudamire

    3. Dwight Howard

    4. Jermaine O'Neal

    5. Shaquille O'Neal (past his prime)

    6. Marcus Camby

    7. Chris Bosh

    8. Yao Ming (plagued with injuries)

    9. Emeka Okafor

    10. Ben Wallace

    Dwight Howard

Here are the best centers currently in the NBA (in order):

    1. Dwight Howard (a force to be reckoned with)

    2. Yao Ming (best pure center and has an outside shot)

    3. Shaq (used to be the best center, but now clearly is past his prime and becoming more of a role player)

I always think of Tim Duncan as more of a forward, but if/when he plays the center position he is among the league's elite centers as well.

currently, Dwight Howard, man child. to all those people saying Amare is the best....he isn't a center, in the beginning of last year before the Shaq trade Amare played the 5, but was not a true center, and would have trouble going up against guys like Howard and Yao....Amare is a power forward.

Dwight Howard or Yao Ming. But, Andrew Bynum and/or Greg Oden in a few years from now.

    Dwight Howard

Yao would be up there, but hes always injured and shaqs getting old. Duncan's more of a PF as is Amare. Nobody else even comes close
