haha yeah it's fine, my niece licked me the other day because she was pretending to be a dog. She crawled around the house and barked and panted, but I drew the line at licking me =)

Sit down and talk to him/her. Tell him/her that dogs are dirty and sh shouldn't lick anything even her fingers sometimes cause they could be very dirty depending on what he/she was doing!

So don't worry but if he/she does it again that i say go to a doctor :P
