Can I put a celebrity's name on a t-shirt and sell it?

Like if I wanted to make a t-shirt that said:

Lindsay Lohan is My Homegirl

(or something similar)

Could her crazy mother sue me?

    Yes, if you are using her name for your personal financial gain.

    My experience with this site is that 1/2 will say yes and the other 1/2 will tell you no. So go with one of those choices or you can play it safe and ask a real lawyer.

    Yes. You'd need to buy the rights for something like that. Which is pretty darn expensive.
