Asking again. Why do I...?

Why do I break out in a clammy sweat on my face when I eat sour/tart candies like Skittles, Nerds, Sweet tarts, etc.?

    It sounds like an allergic reaction to the flavorings. Does your nose run at all at that time or a little bit afterwards?
