Is anyone else not able to download the 2.0 ipod touch update, even thought it's after 8 am???

Its because iTunes Activation servers are completely down. Try later today, otherwise, out of luck. Both iPhone and iPod touch users cannot upgrade or activate. Great going apple... not being prepared for one of your biggest launches...

i've been trying to download this since midnight. but i have found a link to the software update, but it doesn't work when I click on it. I get an error message. Maybe Apple is posting it right now, who knows about Apple these days. Good Software and Products, Very Bad Support and Updates. Try at 11:00 a.m. It releases 8:00 PST.

Yeah, ever since I saw this App store I have been dying to try out all of those free ones. Apple drives me nuts sometimes. I get those messages, too. They must not have posted the update on the site yet. Apple teases us too much.

Yes, I get the same error. It will probably work at 11:00 eastern when the iPhone 3G releases on the Pacific Coast

yea wait till later apple doesn't really update in the morning, it might take a few hours like maybe till 11am prob

yea when i click the link to update my ipod(which i just got last night) it says "i tunes store currently unavailable" so i think the server must be down or somethin

yep have this problem too in the UK. May wait till later on tonight before i try it.

When i go to download it has an error in itunes saying that it is temporarily unavailable. please try again later.
