you mite want to close down your iTunes and try again... give it some time. Apples server is getting hit like crzy.
so just keep trying or go do sumthing like have lunch and come back.. keep trying tho. youll get through.
same thing happened to me this morn.

I'm sorry but the apple servers are down. THey are having trouble setting everything back up because so many people are having to go through this.
