Why didnt we have a home nations Tourney while Euro 08 was on?

Ask the English FA.

Well if they would have been in the euros they would have had no holiday which is why the home nations was suggested as an alternative. (to answer a piont someone else made)

One reason put forward was due to the intence rivalry there were fears of crowd trouble, other than that there is no good reason because it would have had loads of interest and made lots of money and good entertainment too.

Because the English, Welsh, Scots

& Northern Irish from the home

nations are on their holidays.

And, I suspect, do not want to play

any football matches.

Doesn't it have something to do with the Scottish people weeing on the scoreboard and stealing the pitch and snapping the goal posts?
