Why do we only have 6 shows in a series and Americans have 21?
I'm just a bit jealous as it means we get less shows per series!

Well US used to have more but have shortened it to 32 or less.... mostly I think cause the summer months we'd rather do other things then watch tv and the actors want to much money for it to be cost effective. And, I understand the BBC shows run 13 at least not 6.

we go for quality over quantity 6 episodes of new tricks are better than 22 law and order. just look at shows like the bill when it originally run for short series it was much better than the rubbish it is now it's on twice a week all year round

lots of british shows have more than 6 shows per series
