U.S. Army: What is the correct way to spell: "Hoorah"?
I'm designing a shirt to wear when I pick up my Soldier-friend at the airport and I want to make sure I spell the term correctly. I know the Marines spell/pronounce it differently, but I am greeting a U.S. SOLDIER, so I want to make sure I get it right.
Thanks for your help!
I live smack dab in the middle of Marine country, so please don't insult the Corps...totally unneccessary. We're all on the same team, folks!
And to Tammy W: Could you please elaborate for me? I guess I was under the mistaken impression that a Soldier is a Soldier, and a Marine is a Marine. If I'm wrong, please let me know.
Thanks again to all!

So you live in San Diego do you? Well at any rate the word has no approved spelling. Anyway you spell it is probably going to be correct. Just wearing it will get your message across. Lets not be too literal here. Good luck to you. OOOWRAH!!!

HOOAH... and no, Marines are NOT "soldiers", we are "Troops", or Marines.
Hey, axis, cute... now, bite me. J/K, a little inter-service rivalry... about the only thing a doggie can handle...no, really, just kidding... not everyone can be a Soldier, or Sailor, or Airman... and even FEWER can be a Marine.
However, we ALL Serve!
