i have a problem connectiong my ps3 to the internet in my room.?
I'm not using a router. i have a modem that i plugged in and my ps3 is plugged in. i don't know whats wrong, i have hooked up earlier today in the computer room and nothing was wrong. So it's a direct connection that won't work. Please Help. Oh yeah, I'm not that great with electronics but whatever you guys say I'll try.

i know this is stupid but are you sure the modems is turned on and everything. you said it was working earlier so it shouldn't be the ps3 but just go into network settings on the ps3 under the settings menu and set it up again just to make sure.

Plug it back in to the modem. On the ps3 go to settings>Network settings > Internet Connection settings > easy setup follow instructions. and make sure Internet connection is enabled on that menu. Hope this helps

are you sure that you have the wires all hooked up to the modem right and to the telephone line and try the settlings for wired
