Flash player was fine for a year and now will not play/download?

It's been fine and all of a sudden everytime a video is to be played I get a message telling me I have to get Flash Player. I have downloaded many times. Ir says "successfully installed" but still won't work. HELP! I'm a news junkie.

This usualy helps when I'm having install problems with Flash. Right click on the shortcut that starts your browser and click on Properties. Then click on the Compatibility tab. Check the box that says Run this program in compatability mode for: - and click on the bar that says Windows 95 and change it to Windows 2000. Click Apply and then OK.

Doesn't clear up all Flash problems but it usually clears up the install issues, at least for me.

Test the installed plugins at http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
