The Cardinal is a beautiful bird but the most striking colored bird is the Blue Jay.

Cardinal. Blue jays are pretty, but can be a bit aggressive at times.

ok now....I think Blue Jays are beautiful birds, but they can be downright ornery....BUT I have to go with a Cardinal...they are beautiful too & seeing how I am a Big St Louis Cardinal fan, I think you know I have to go with the Cardinal! No question! :)

I love them both. They are both beautiful. The blue jay is bold and noisy, the cardinal has several beautiful songs and is elusive and shy. Guess I would have to say, the cardinal because just to see him and hear him is a rare treat, indeed.

We love the bright red cardinals, especially in the winter months, they seem to perk up the day. The raucous caw of the Blue Jay of course wake you up.

The Blue Jay. They are Canadian and the Cardinal is always trying to be holier than thou.
