English Mastiff?
Ok so I fell in love with this english mastiff that I saw and I wanted to know if anyone who may own an english mastiff knows any info on them. How old do they live? How often do they eat? What other breeds of dog do they get along with? How big will they get? Are they easy to train? Please let me know based off of personal experiences with this breed of dog.

Due to the fact that they are a giant breed that means they do not live long lives. Unfortunately, our big furkids just don't live long enough.
As puppies English Mastiffs should be fed ADULT kibble 3-4 times a day. It is also important to NOT feed them a kibble formulated for large breeds since they are not a large breed! They are a GIANT breed!
Once they reach about a year old you can feed them 2 meals a day for the rest of their life.
Depending on how YOU socialize and they time and effort YOU put into training/obedience will determine if your dog will get along with other dogs.
They get HUGE!
English Mastiffs can be a bit stubborn when it comes to training. They need a firm, but patient hand.

Mastiffs are a giant breed and can exceed 200 pounds when mature. The life expectancy is very short due to their size. They suffer bone and joint problems. They eat twice a day, but they eat a LOT and need a high quality food. They can get along with any breed of dog.
They drool A LOT and are also prone to skin conditions, etc. Because of their size they aren't particularly active.

Ok, i have a female that i got when she was a year and a half old. beautifull dog, loves the kids, very gentle, well behaved.that's the good stuff....Here is the bad..she is a attention freak. and cannot stand when the other dog(lab)gets any loving, she will attack him most of the time. we have to separate them sometimes, cuz they may fight, other times they get along just fine...also, she drools, farts& eats like a freakin horse...so, my recommendation don't get one if you have another dog. these giants like to be the only dog...shes good with the cats!!!

They live to be around eight years old. They eat twice a day like any other dog. Like most mastiffs, they tend to not get along with other dogs, even those they are raised with. They can get to be 200 pounds--try getting one with a leg injury to the Vet without a sturdy board and a lifting team. They are VERY strong willed and not recommended for a first-time dog owner.

hard to train expensive to feed and vet but great dogs they drool...alot so you can not be picky about a clean house
they can get along with other pets and kids if raised right
but they are big so they make mistakes
recomends for seasoned dog owners

Woahhhh, you have this many questions I feel you need to do more research. Any purebred has typically a shorter life span. All breeds have medical specific issues. Any dog will typically eat when food is offered. There are not specific breeds that get along with specific breeds. Mastiffs are a large breed. Please, please, please do more research before you decide to get any kind of dog.

I was always warned they would eat me out of house and home and once i got one it was true. I tryed scheduling feeding times but it would wine untill i fed it so they eat alot and grow very big. Im not sure if it was just my dog but he had a very small attention span so training was difficult altought i got him to be house train. I would like to tell you more but i had to get rid of mines after 6 monthes so hopefully this was helpful.

they are a little hard to train, scare away a lot of bad people, are very nice, and grow huge!
