Just mix it up with solid colored shirt. Like lemon shirt and dark blue tie with yellow in it, or pink with a deep purple and black tie.

I would ware khaki's, with a dress shirt blue is nice "bright blue ",not navy. I would have no tie and maybe as the night goes on the sleeves cuffed up. The bright blue looks hot with brown hair guys. If you're looking to look stylish a pink shirt same way! "chicks love it"

Light colored slacks and a light shirt, perhaps a dressy tropical silk shirt.

you could wear a suit with a coloured shirt, or a white or black shirt with a coloured tie.
