Who used my avatar to ans. a quest. about rating avatars? I was admonished by Yahoo for something I didn't do?

Why would someone target my avatar? I do no rate avatars above and below me, for any reason. I am very much against this practice. I was penalized 10 pts for something that I did not write. What's the deal? How can someone do this?

It sounds like someone may have "cloned" your account. If you believe that this is what has happened, and that someone is impersonating you, send an email to y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (no "e" in answrs is correct). Paste the violation in there, and they will be able to go through your As and see that you did not in fact "earn" that violation. Make sure to mention that you think someone may have cloned or impersonated you. Most of all be polite. You can appeal the VN up to 3 times, but you have to do it within 7 days.

If someone cloned you the violation would have gone to that account not yours.

I would simply click on 'customer care" in blue letters at the bottom of the violation notice & ask them what's going on.
