Is it even worth asking questions anymore?

I asked the same question only a week ago, and quite frankly, I only drop in momentarily these days. I got trolled to death last weekend, and it's just not worth the effort.

Somehow, Y!A filled a gap after my Dad died in February. Sounds pathetic, I know, but I had a lot of time on my hands in the evenings without Dad to look after, and Answers provided a distraction.

I know I've peeved off a few 'smart-arses', and I've already captured one troll, but the magic is gone and I often think, and then think again before going on - net result, I don't bother because I can't be bothered with the hassle.

Look out for your troll, I've found one who changes name like I change my socks. Not only that, but it also changes gender! All to avoid detection. However, I've managed to isolate this one, I've got it in a trap, and I watch the creature change change name, colour and gender with a miriad avatars in store. It's all quite interesting, but what to do? that's the question.

To be honest, I only just peeped in for a minute when I saw your question and though 'here we go' just exactly like me last weekend.

That happened to me...I ended up deleting all my contacts (I'm gettting new ones now if you didnt get my email will you add me lol)

I hate asking questions now! I asked a question once and it got deleted like 3 months later its so stupid

I actually didnt go on Y!A for a while b.c i was just so through with it

i wouldn't be surprised if my answer gets deleted.

maybe the questions that were deleted weren't getting the responses they were looking for.

i deleted questions today because most of the people who were answering were reading too much into the question. i only wanted answered what i asked. no one got that so i deleted it instead of trying to add details to get them to understand where i was going. only a few people answered anyway

The trolls are out in force I think.

Its kinda stopped me even thinking of asking questions, especially when you get 2-3 deleted on the trot.

Are you asking the same questions that are getting deleted? Just ask yourself...if a 9 year old would get offended reading it. It's probably against the guidelines.

There's always a chance the trolls might get a date one night,and leave your questions alone.What annoys me is the fact that yahoo leave the cheats alone.Just noticed someone voting their contact as top answer,every single time

Yes its still worth asking them because we are not all morons with no life. Some of us like to have fun and answer questions :)

It's probably trolls reporting your questions, and make sure they're not reported for chatting by sticking in a simple poll question somewhere.

Because there are annoying people who like to report questions that they think are "chatting" because they have nothing better to do with their lives

i dont understand why they do this.. if they dont like the question or think its chatting why dont they just get out of it and answer something else?

Same. Its stupid. We should start a petition against deleting good questions. lol.
