What are requirements for mental disability.?

Does Dissociative Identity Disorder qualify for mental disability.

    i think it depends more on how it affects ur life...cuz people can have different severities of that disorder...for example

    i have bpd and so does my friend...but i am considered disabled b/c it impacts my life imensly and i can barely fuction at times...whereas my friend has dificulty but can still go about life.
