What kind of dog is best for me?
i have always wanted a little dog. I have only had big dogs my entire life. but I dont know what kind is best. it needs to be friendly, both with people and another dog. It cant be that high maintenance and has to be easy to train. opinions?

If I was you I would pick a Pekingese because they are playful get along with people and other dogs. They like to snuggle and try to get in your lap a lot.

the best dog ive ever seen is a maltese. my neighbor has one and it is very well trained. its also soooo cute. the maltese dog can be very kind, playful, and quiet. but if your looking for a puppy to cuddle with, this is the perfect lap dog. oh and they dont shed so if you know someone whose allergic, then this would be and great dog to have around

i am getting a chihuahua/cocker spaniel mix and he is sooooo cute!! when they are full grown they end up just loking like mini cocker spaniels.
idk where u live, but there are some for sale in sacramento...
