How do you remove pet oder from grass?

Here's the deal, my dog loves to pee right outside the door on the grass & now every time I open my front door.....it stinks! How do I remove this oder & perferrably something I can use from household products, not a product I have to buy. Thanks

Heavy watering of the area usually works well.

I'd be very leary of using many products on the lawn though- you can easily change the PH or the soil or harm the grass causing your lawn to die.

I also suggest training the dog to go in an area away from the froint door!

Hi - I have a gravel backyard (AZ) and when it rains I can smell the urine. It is an unpleasant smell for sure. I have gotten in a habit to put vinegar into a big weed sprayer and spray my gravel once every two weeks. It works really well.

Mop down the floor with a 50/50 bleach/water blend to kill the micro organism it rather is soaked into the concrete. this would would desire to be achieved a 2d time. enable it air dry and confirm you have an incredible form of air flow once you're doing it.

But honestly - it's grass. The best you could do is maybe try the stuff you put on carpet and spray it out there? Or wait till it grows tall then cut it, or when u take out your dog, take him out farther into the yard.

wow that's really gross. i'm glad you posted this question because im always letting my dog pee in the backyard. i didn't realize it would eventually start to stink, but with it being summer and hot, i shouldn't be so surprised! i would say rinse it down as well.

Rinse the area with a hose and make your dog go to the potty in another spot.

Try soap and water and walk your dog to a 'safe' area for him to do his business.

    God bless ya!
