yes. i've heard of 6 month old babies walking. usually the early walkers are the ones that skip crawling. my baby girl is 8 months old as of today and pulling herself up on furniture and cruising. she can also stand by herself. no first steps yet but i know its coming and i'm gonna have some big trouble..lol

Can Babies Walk At 8 Months

The statement " you can't teach old dogs new tricks" is a myth. The only time you can't teach a dog obedience is when they take thier last breath. The key to traing in three words, excersise, disapline and love. Your dog is not old at 8 months, granted they say it shold start a 8 weeks but the one thing that will help is make sure you keep repeating the same responds ( keep them off the furature, you must remove them everytme you see the on the furnature. and establishing pack leader.I suggest you watch THE DOG WISPERER on the Discovery Channel at 8:00 pm on Friday. He has given me great training tips. Also a dog should be walked on a leash, depending on the breed and kind of dog you have (working dog, water dog ect.) as to how much they need.

An 8 month old can definitely walk. My little girl was around 9 months when she started trying to walk. But don't push every baby develops and progresses differently.

i don't think you can 'teach' them if they're not ready, but if they're determined (and you'll KNOW if they're the determined type) they can walk early - with a lot of bumps and bruises, unfortunately. my daughter was trying to walk around 8 and a half months and was fully walking on her own by 9 months, but the earlier they walk the more they fall down. my niece didn't start walking til after 1 year. the normal range is anywhere from 10-15 months, so don't sweat it.

Actually it is possible, because my son just turned 8 months on the 14th of July and he can crawl, pull up on everything, and even stand alone! Shoot it shocked me that he's moving this fast, but I think he'll be walking real soon because he knows how to walk up and down the couch while holding onto it.Every child is different!!!

Sure can, my daughter was walking at 9 months old! I have it on video to! And NO she is not bowlegged! She is perfectly fine, she can run and skip the whole nine yards, babies are going to learn to walk when they want to, my son did not start walking until he was after a year old. It is not up to you, it is all them! They will let you know when they are ready to learn, they will start pulling up on stuff and when you try to sit them on the floor they will not want to bend their legs, that is what my daughter did anyway! I say if you are comfortable with it and the baby is showing signs of it go for it!

My son was full on walking at 9 months. But it depends on the child, all babies grow differently in there own time. If he is standing, or climbing on things, pulling up. You could hold his hands as he trys to walk, but I would try to force it or anything :)

Yes, an 8 month old can definately learn to walk. My nephew learned to walk around that time. As long as they are trying and willing, I say go for it!!!
