How many people are in Chicago as opposed to how many are in the rest of Illinois.?

I am trying to figure out if there are more people in chicago area (60 mile radius) or if the rest of the state has more people

    3 out 4 Illinois citizens live in the metro Chicago area. 9.7 million out of 12.8 million statewide. One in four residents of the state live within the city of Chicago itself.
