Bad batch of Canidae!?

Contrary to what Canidae says on its website (http://www.canidae.com/recall.html) I still think there is a bad batch of Canidae out there, which could be unrelated to the recall.

Read here: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/canidae.html

Our dog's food has the same batch number 40461-01040 as others reported on the above link, and has been having explosive diarrhea which clears up when we put him on a bland diet, but immediately returns when we start transitioning him back on his Canidae.

Just wanted to put this info out there. If you've had a similar experience, by all means respond to this post, but I would suggest also contacting Canidae directly with the batch number (you can find this below the barcode) and perhaps Consumer Affairs (see link above).

Good luck all!

I've been able to switch between the Chicken/Rice and the ALS without transitioning, and have not seen any ill effects. However, Abbyful has a good point about switching between L/R & C/R if your dog has an easily upset system, as everything would be the same except the protein sources.
