Why was Starstuff cancelled? (Australia)?
Can anyone tell me why ABC radio cancelled it's excellent program called "Starstuff"?
Starstuff was one of my all time favourite radio shows and now, after more than 500 episodes and something like 10 years of reporting the latest news in the world of science & astronomy, it's been axed! What a boneheaded decision!
Does anyone know why it was cancelled and/or who was responsible for the decision?
Thanks.

I'm almost certain that the decision to pull Starstuff was not based on poor ratings or profitability.
The ABC is government run so does not count on advertising revenue to assess it's worth. Besides, I happen to know that it was actually quite popular (as far as non commercial radio shows go)

All good things come to a end if its not drawing the listeners anymore and is not profitable then its time to move onto something else obviously it was tanking. Like many other radio and tv shows
