You didn't say the make or model of your BMW but the current models have synthetic oil that is found at your dealer. Going there also is expensive but will preserve your warranty coverage, which is very expensive to lose. Consider it cheap insurance to go there.

I would say go to your BMW dealer. If the car is older, or out of warranty, take it to a Valvoline or some other oil change place. Make sure they use the right kind of oil!

    Hope this helps!

if its an old one a lot of regular oil change places can do it. New ones you have to find a place that is approved by BMW so your warranty is not lost. When you post a question you have to put the model and year..

  • Dont go to the deler, they will charge you an arm and a leg. Find out first what kind of oil your BMW uses (it's in your car manual) and than go to any mechanic and request that oil to be put in.

Go to the dealer. If you complain about this or that, or the other, you may get a free oil change from the manager.

go to the most expensive place you can find. that will justify your feeling of having a foreign luxury car.
