Can Brett Favre meet with other teams while he's retired?

Even though he's retired,they still have exclusive rights to him.

The rules don't actually prevent HIM from talking to other teams though.They prevent other teams from talking with him without the Packers permission.

Any time another team is involved in talks with a player that another team has the rights to without first getting permission,the violation/punishment is against the team,not the player.

His contract with the Packers only prevents him from signing with other teams. He can talk to any team he wants.
