Setting cruise control?
I cant seem to get it to work. I go the x speed and then hit on and up to acc. but then the speed just drops. I have a 96 Camry, i tried to do it on my moms car which is a 08 4Runner and it doesnt work either.

1. Turn it on
2. Hit the "set" button
3. Cruize at "set" speed
to accel, hit the accel, to coast, hit the coast button. If you can't figure it out, read the owners manual, that always helps.

I'm not 100 percent sure on this but I think that your problem is that your not pressing the 'set' button. I share a 2007 dodge caravan with my folks and what you have to do is first press the 'on/off' button, go the speed that you want the cruise to go, and then press 'set'. when you keep going the speed you can press the 'acc' and I think it goes like 3 km (canadian, here) more. What I have been told is that if you press it when you have on but not set it resumes to the speed you were going before- which can be dangerous if you are going 50km and then jump to 110.
I'm not sure. I just set it and then turn it off and then reset it because I am nervous about what it will do.
Sorry, I'm a chick- and therefore my knowlege isn't the best on cars

The Camry has a cruise master switch. It is located at the end of the cruise stalk. When depressed, the cruise light will come on (rt. side of i.p.). Set your speed with "set/decell"
