How can we make Religious Organizations take responsibility for what they say they are?

An advocacy group says up to a 130 homeless people have been removed from Sydney during World Youth Day celebrations.

Kevin Simpson from Homeless Voice says men and women who normally sleep in the city or the Domain have been moved out by authorities.

"I am a little bit surprised they haven't taken more care of the actual people who Jesus came for and that's the disadvantaged, marginalised broken people," he said.

That is nothing they have these groups for christian childrens fund and it was a tiny bit that actually goes to help the children.

ONe article said, "if the money they spend putting up the commercial on TV was used to help the children they could feed every child in the world 3 times over."

that is not an actual third world country with sewerage running in the street. That is a movie set and the children are actors.

They want there to be starving children it keeps the funds coming in.

They are making money of the fact their is starving children in the world. The TV Evangelists are no better they get donations from the poorest people and they are rich and keep them sending in more money with the idea they are building something, or helping someone. While the only ones they are helping is themselves.

I agree, but i doubt a few reverends and a couple of priests moved them on. I think you'll find its the police who have done it, and mainly because sydney is being watched internationally. If we have any hope of retaining the regard we have from the olympics and hosting, say the world cup, we need this to work.

So a few homeless people have been moved on. What about the concentration camps full of refugees 25kms west of sydney?
