No, I sort of like the open conversation atmosphere of Yahoo Answers. If you started rating people's abilities, it's going to seperate too many people into different sections. I don't care to talk with a bunch of other mechanics, that's an argument waiting to happen. I don't care to answer questions to people who SAY they have a lot of experience when in reality they don't know the hood from the trunk. I DO enjoy just browsing the questions and reading the different questions and answers. I enjoy helping people when I can. I also take great humor out of reading the trainwreck questions from people who ask some of the most stupid stuff I ever heard of.

    Here's a good suggestion.

Let's take a vote on the funniest questions and answers from the different sections.

My favorite was a guy a while back who asked what asked where the radio was in his car and what it done.

no I don't like your suggest because I think even people that think they know and even people that are suppose to be techs give wrong answers. You gave an answer about charging your battery and I know you gave bad advice to that person. It really doesn't matter if you connect + first or - first your owners manual says connect - first you said + and it really doesn't matter and you said to charge for 6 hours well you have to know what type of charger they have and what selection they will use if you do a quick charge you don't want to charge for 6 hours. so your suggest would lead people to believe someone actually might know what they are talking about.
