Where was Sandy Koufax??
I wonder if MLB invited him to the All Star Game...it was nice to see all the Legends of the Game on the field for the pregame...it would have been nice to see Sandy there as well...anyone know what's up with Sandy? Thanks..

He will not attend events that has anything to do with Fox TV/ news or affiliates. If you remember when Fox owned the Dodgers before the McCourts there were certian comments made by a Fox source that infuriated Sandy and even though Fox appologized for the comments, Sandy did not accept. As soon as the McCourts purchased the Dodgers, Sandy became available to the Dodgers whenever they asked which included the honoring of the 1955 Dodgers and Jackie Robinson. He still however will not attend anything involving Fox and since Fox televised the pregame festivities forget it.

It's really very strange that Sandy Koufax is not present frequently in MLB events. Maybe he just wants to not be tied to baseball anymore for some reason. He was a great pitcher.

Johnny Bench, Tom Seaver, Sandy Koufax, Joe Morgan, Nolan Ryan, Stan Musial, Carlton Fisk and Carl Yastrzemski were all no-shows... which is rather surprising. I can't believe all of them had better things to do that night.
