Is the US Olympic team going to lose again this year, look at the roster?! What is up wit that....?

they will lose, those guys hate each other. Most of them are exhausted from reagular season. Some are still injured or coming off injuries. The European teams have got there number.

Chandler is not on the team officially, he's a reserve if someone gets injured before the games. He should be on the official squad because they only have 3 big men. (If they lack a center due to foul trouble, then they'll be screwed) Redd and Prince are not overrated, but probably underrated. Carmelo is overrated, but they brought him along because they think he has a good amount of international experience.

Prince isn't overrated, Chandler and him are brought in for defense, which is something we need, what I'm disappointed in is that once again we don't have a real all-star calibur center besides Dwight, that does not bode well if he gets injured.

Redd was brought in for shooting and Carmelo plays pretty well in National Ball, they shouldn't have started him ahead of LeBron James though...

he gets no credit and he is one of the best shooters in the NBA u proly dont think so cause he doesnt get all these reports like kobe or lebron "sell out" james does

overrated? do you even know what basketball is? you obviously do not or your would know that every player on that list is UNDERRATED except melo, who is overrated. they are all underrated you moron. USA is gonna win gold because nobody can stop Kobe, LeBron, Wade, and Dwight Howard, especially if they on the same team.

yes US will very likely win gold this summer, but only if they play hard and don't get over-confident.

I think every year team USA lost it's either due to:

1) lack of respect for the international game, and their rules.

2) over-confident

3) too much youth, lack of leadership, and inexperience(like Bron-Wade-Melo team)

I think with the addition of vets such as Kobe, and J-Kidd. USA now have a combination of youth, experience and leadership for them.

Michael Redd overrated?

YEAH RIGHT...

america has the most talent in the olympics basketball wise. in my opinion the only reason we sometimes lose is because the athletes do go all out because they dont want to get injured and risk their careers

dude chandler and prince are too defend, carmelo and redd are just there to score

kidd and kobe there for leadership..

but kobe is only there to defend the best player on the other team.. not score, except if its needed(ie buzzer beater)

The team will be fine as long as they have kobe, lebron, chris paul, and howard.
