    Favorite Answer

    1. Andrea--I don't like it much. How about Aubry or something?

    2. Leilah--I like this one a lot.

    3. Kai--Depending on how it's pronounced, I like it.

    4. Sarai--Again, depending on how it's pronounced I like it. It's unique for sure.

    5. Erick--I like the spelling but the name is too common.

    6. Pearl--It seems like a normal name for an underwater creature. Maybe some other gem? Opal? Ruby? Sapphire?

    7. Adrian--I like this name.

    8. Mae--I've always liked this name.

    9. Jasmine--This has always been one of my favorite names. I really like this one.

    10. Rudy--I don't like this one much.

    11. Leilani--Yes. This one is good.

    12. Merrick--Not a very common name and I like that.

Well, my feeling is that mer-gods would not have such common names. Look at the meanings of these - and more important, perhaps, the culture of origin - and see for yourself.

If I were going to write a story about mer-gods, they would have names aligned with whatever culture they resembled. For example, "Greek" or Atlantean mer-gods would have Greek names, "Norse" mer-gods, Nordic names, etc. I would want to keep their names in line with whatever culture's gods they were supposed to be.

There good, i like them all except for 'Pearl'.....it doesnt seem right for some reason.

Really, you could use any name in a work of fantasy. you dont have to come up with a weird name! Like, the name David could be used along side Sarai or Paul could be used with Leilani. But, thats just what i think.

---Try looking at greek legends and other ancient stories, that will probably help you come up with some ballin names---

You've got some good choices. Also, you might try looking at Ancient Greek and Roman gods and making up variations of their names.

Many of the names-Jasmine, Rudy, Adrian, Andrea don't seem very "fantasy". The others are good.

I think they are good, except for #'s 2.3.6.11.12. They just dont seem right, Sorry. How about the name Alice? I just seem to like that name a lot.
