Christians, are any of you feeling compelled to fast lately?
It seems like I am hearing from others in my area that they are feeling compelled by the Holy Spirit more than usual lately to fast and pray. I just wondered if this is happening across the nation?
If so, is it a fairly new phenomena in your life?
What are you feeling compelled to pray about (if it isn't too personal?)
I know we aren't supposed to publicly fast and pray to get attention, so it is generally a private thing, but since this is a fairly anonymous forum I thought we could discuss it without feeling like we were boasting...
Also if you are seeing the trend, even in your own life, do you think it has anything to do with the upcoming election?
or the war?
or what's happening in Israel?
or is it just a revival sweeping the land?

I was just talking to my sister tonight about we need to pray and fast for this up coming election.
I believe a lot of Christians are feeling this way.
Bible prophecys are coming to past more and more each day

I live in I a different nation and in a different situation. I have been feeling rundown and suffer a cold and as they say feed a cold and starve a fever. So fasting is off. However it is an important reminder to pray for each and every nation. Thanks for sharing.
