Anybody have some good suggestions for Sunday nightlife in Houston area where you can actually still smoke?
My husband will be home from Canada on a Sunday and we usually spend our first night together without the kids. We want to go out and have a good time, but we have 2 problems. 1) It will be Sunday 2) we both smoke and don't want to go to a club that is non-smoking. We would happily go to a place outside the Houston area as long as the drive isn't too far. We love almost any music that will play on a stereo, so a multi-genre club is our fav, but it's hard to find anything like that anymore - especially on a Sunday. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you know what the club's dress code is it would be helpful, as last time it was a real problem for us because of one thing or another. Thanks in advance for any help!
Just a quick note - I didn't ask for your opinion on what I should do as a smoker. We smokers think the non-smokers should stay out of the bars if they don't like the smoke. If you can't be helpful, go away.
Do you have have any suggestions out side Houston? I knew most places in Houston were now non-smoking but I wasn't sure if it covered the bars or not. Thanks for the update though.
Bingo isn't really my idea of a great 1st night back together, but I appreciate the thought. We used to go to Galveston, but Sundays are pretty dead on the island. Any suggestions on the surrounding areas?

You'll have to look outside Houston because smoking in bars has been banned.

I'm not sure of a club but...there's always BINGO??? I feel like a goof even suggesting it but you can smoke & it's open on Sunday's & it's pretty cheap(around $5 per person), I really don't think there's much of a dress code. There is a hall near the intersection of F.M. 1960 & Aldine Westfield(near potato patch)...you can't miss it, it says BINGO & that's it.
The chronicle also has Houston Happenings on their website....www.chron.com & regardless of where your at the Houston community newspapers are all around Houston & should supply you with happenings on Sundays ...they also have a website but I'm not sure the address...Have a GREAT time no matter what you do!

I think all smokers should smoke at home.
