Inspired by Chuck??
Do you consider Eazy E to be an outstanding rapper or just some dude who attached himself to a legendary group?
He seems to get props here and there in the RHH section but i can't get passed his voice. He sounds like Mini Me from Austin Powers. Also, his rhymes are subpar.
@Ninja---good point.

hmm...
He didn't attach himself to the group, he's the founder of the group.
Was he the weakest link? YES
Was he a glorified Hype man? YES.
Yeah, he sounded like he was born with Narcotics in his system.
he deserves some of the credit he gets, he was a legitimate member of NWA..
Thanks PD.. You brought up some good points too.. and yes his rhymes were extra weak.

"just some dude who attached himself to a legendary group"
Yup.
He didn't write his own lyrics, and IMO, that is essential if you are going to be considered a great.

I see him as a rapper who attached himself to a legendary group.
I don't think you should knock him for his voice, it's not his fault...
