How do I get a clipart from Google onto my computer's paint program?

I'm trying to design a t-shirt, so I have the pattern picture already, but I can't get it onto my computer's paint program so that I can design on it. I've done this before with no problem. I don't know why it's such a big deal now. Any help??? Or reasons??? Easy 10 points....

Thanks, and as always, God bless.

If you've got Windows, on the top line of keys, hit 'PrtScrn' or 'Print Screen' , then > Start > Accessories > Paint ; after paint opens, on the top line go to 'edit' and hit paste. this will copy the page you've got the artwork on, then 'save' to your desktop.

Open that file with paint again, or other editing program to crop, add text, etc.
