Another paint question??? Could anyone recommend a good brand name to me???

It's for the kitchen. Is there a brand that you have tried and really liked?? Or a type of finish that you really liked?? Satin etc. Thanks so much

I always pick a best answer.

you are going to have fun with it.

I think for kitchen got to be glossy, because of the high traffic, but usually when you buy the paint, the person that sell it to you (and mix it) will know what you need.

    Good luck.

I used Sherwin Williams' Duration Home in semi-gloss for my kitchen. It's an environmentally preferred product b/c low VOC, low odor & anti-microbial (inhibits growth of mildew). It's formula prevents stains from penetrating and most stains wipe clean with water or mild soap.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I really like Behr paint. It's nice and thick and covers very well. I usually use eggshell finish everywhere in the house.
