They are saying in the news that oil made its biggest drop ever, this week. The crisis is over . . .LOL
They are trying to make people think - Oh WoW, $4 a gallon.
I personally won't be un-pissed until its back below $3.

I won't be happy until it's under $2.00. I live and work in a rural part of Texas where the only electric cars you will see are the 1/10 scale remote controlled type.

They are desperately grasping at straws.
Oil prices dropped because Brazil announced it would start exporting more oil, and American usage has dropped because the price has been so high. When demand falls and supply increases, the price of a commodity drops, that's basic economics.
The idea that anything that lame-duck McBush says would scare oil speculators into lowering prices is ridiculous.

Yeah, how true. How cheap was gas before it started the exponential rise in price, almost 2 dollars a gallon, or something like that?

Yeah, I'd like to see $1.50 a gallon and I probably will, but only in the History books of the future.

I just get the feeling that it is a Republican political carrot. They get desperate and toss the people a bone (or carrot) then take it back .Watch what the repubs pull before the election. I think wealthy neo cons control oil and gas (multinational neo cons who are US citizens as well ) . They are known by their deeds -like tax evasion.

When Obamas President he will wave his magic wand. Gas will be back to 1.25/gallon
