Problems like this may happen due to a bad cache. Clear your history, temporary files (be patient) & cookies, then restart the computer and retry. This HELP link has instructions: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/se... .
Then, be sure (again) that the 'keep me signed in' box is checked -- and that you are allowing cookies from Yahoo (or they can't 'remember' this setting).
