anyone know why some categories have frozen and no new questions have been on foe 17 hrs or so ?

There are some serious problems at the moment.

Questions are not getting posted.

Resolved questions aren't being removed from the ask lists.

They are appearing to fix it here and there.

Here in the UK the Q’s I am answering are 2 hours old.

Another software kcoc-up at Y!A.

You can get round it by clicking on your nation's flag at the bottom of the "ANSWERS" page. It only lets you see the latest page of questions but it's better than nothing!!
