Please some help with rotated pelvis?
I was diagnosed with this months ago, it bothered my leg mainly. But just the other day I lifted a very heavy item and can now barely move due to excrutiating pain in my lower back. Could I have thrown my pelvis out of whack again? Would my therapy exercises possibly help?

I was diagnosed with a rotated pelvis 3 weeks ago, and the reason being was i had very tight hamstrings. I was reffered to a phisio and noticed the pain going within 3 days of doing hamstring stretches. The main pain i had was very sharp in my left hip. A simple test to see if your hams are tight is to lie on your back and bring your knee up to a right angle and then see if your lower leg will straighten so the soles of your feet are facing the ceiling, if you cant do this then this may be what is causing the rotated pelvis.

Hi There! I had exactly the same problem a little while ago, it still niggles from time to time. It's bloody painful. I was seeing a physio who eased the symptoms and gave me some good exercises (which did help) but now that i'm seeing an osteopath it's much much better. Not only is he easing the symptoms, but he's fixing the problem all together.
I'm not sure if the lifting has put your pelvis out of whack again, it may be a seperate problem, but an osteopath will be able to help with this aswell. They tend to look at the whole body opposed to dealing with just the pained area.
Posture is a major contributing factor towards pelvis misalignment so make sure you focus on it :)

If the therapy exercises helped before they probably will again. And you should keep doing them to prevent future problems.
