Dividing the hard disk of a laptop computer ...?

Hi everybody ,

I have a Toshiba Laptop with 250 GB hard disk drive , and I want to divide it into two sections . So can I do that then use the recovery Disk (which I got with the Laptop) , that contains Windows Vista Genuine and some programs without any problems . Any suggestions please .

    you'll have to insert the boot cd and choose to boot from cd drive. guess you can start partitioning from there
