Why is my 4 year old rabbit so sensitive about his face?? He wasn't like this yesterday!?

His name is Midnight and he is an english lopper/ cottontail mix and his ears do not lop. he is a chubby medium age. he twitches when you touch his mouth or forehead.

Since this is a new behavior, I would suspect teeth problems that are causing him pain, he's at about the age where they will often start to show up. Have your vet check him out, he may need some sharp edges filed down or some other dental work done.

Dose he have a tick? Even if he is a inside pet and has never been outside he could have 1...Take him 2 the vet the first chance you get..

It's completely normal with rabbits. Almost all rabbits have very sensitive faces. They will jump and twitch when you touch their noses, mouth, or cheeks. There's nothing wrong with him. He's just being a rabbit.

I think it is safe to bring them to the vet.
