Traveling to NYC with a 6 month year old...suggestions?

Good restaurants, parks, etc.

    I agree with Holly T. NYC is a great place to travel with a younger baby! And yes, bring a stroller and a snuggli. 6 months old is actually quite an easy age for this kind of travel. At about 2 or 3 years old it would be much harder!

    And Holly is right about how NYC does not have much smoke anymore. All restaurants are now smoke free, as are all public places.

    Bring a Snugli or a stroller and be prepared to walk a lot. By all means, visit Central Park. You will love it.

    NY is NOT smoky. Smoking is prohibited in all public places (except outdoors) and fewer and fewer people smoke all the time.

    fao Schwartz build a bear workshop well a 6 month old is really sort of difficult to travel with there are boat rides and stuff like that too

    take your baby out to Babies R Us/Toys R Us in Times Sqaure.. and the Bronx Zoo

    umm...from experience, NYC is really smoky, so cover up your baby as much as possible so he/she doesn't inhale too much cigarette smoke. visit Central Park, F.A.O Swartz, and build-a-bear!
