Malaysian,what should i wear for a retro theme?

Question

my hubby's company with a hold a party with a theme called retro.. and since I'm so hopeless on party themes and not to mention about fashion..so, i need help from you guys...what is a retro anyway? what should i wear (they did mention that the outfit must be colorful) ? any ideas?  where can i get those outfit?
  
please help me coz i'm running out of time .the party will be held this saturday nite

a white blause with full of red dots .... and a black woman's belt ... and also light yellow scarf ... you'll look very nice and retro ... make sure u put on high heel and don't wear handbag ... purse will make u look cool... for your hair since u wearing scarf on the neck ... u should let it go loose and tidy
